Jiffy Lube

This was a 4,000 sqft ground-up facility that included a 1,114 sqft pit located 9 feet below grade. The building included new offices, restrooms, a customer lounge, an employee break room, and four service bays. Finishes included paint, tile, acoustical ceilings, a retroplate finished shop floor, millwork, storefront, and eight overhead shop doors.

The oil service pit was constructed of cast in place concrete with a vapor barrier to ensure it was watertight. Onsite coordination with the Jiffy Lube equipment provider was necessary to ensure the proper placement of reinforcement, equipment anchors, and slab penetrations prior to setting structural steel and pouring concrete.

The project also included site and landscaping work: grading, underground utilities, a sand/oil separator, new paving, striping, and two bioretention areas.
